Policy
Privacy Policy
Effective date: January 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Ankor Peptide ("Ankor Peptide," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you visit ankorpeptide.com and any related subdomains (the "Site") or purchase our research materials. By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to the terms of this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1. Who this Policy applies to
The Site is intended solely for qualified researchers who are at least 21 years of age and who purchase chemical reference materials strictly for in vitro laboratory research. We do not knowingly collect information from minors, and we do not market to, or accept orders from, individuals seeking products for personal, human, or veterinary use.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide. Name, shipping and billing address, email, phone number, laboratory or organization name, age-verification confirmations, order history, review submissions, wholesale or affiliate applications, and any messages you send us.
Payment information. Payments are processed by third-party providers (including PayPal and its affiliated methods such as Venmo and card processing, and, where applicable, WooCommerce-integrated processors). Full payment card numbers are handled directly by those providers and are not stored on our servers. We receive a transaction identifier, order status, and limited billing details needed to fulfill the order.
Automatically collected. IP address, device and browser information, referring URLs, pages viewed, session timestamps, and interaction data captured through cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies.
From third parties. Analytics providers, advertising partners, fraud-prevention services, shipping carriers, and payment processors may share information with us to help operate and protect the Site.
3. How we use information
- Verify eligibility (21+, research use only) and process, fulfill, and ship orders.
- Communicate about orders, support requests, receipts, tracking, and account activity.
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and our services.
- Prevent, detect, and investigate fraud, abuse, chargebacks, and unlawful activity.
- Send research updates, promotions, and newsletters where you have opted in (you may unsubscribe at any time).
- Comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations.
- Enforce our Terms, our Return Policy, and any applicable purchase, wholesale, or affiliate agreements.
4. Legal bases (where applicable)
Where required by law, we process personal information under one or more of the following bases: performance of a contract (fulfilling your order), compliance with a legal obligation, your consent (e.g., marketing emails, non-essential cookies), and our legitimate interests in operating a secure, lawful, and effective business.
5. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell personal information for money. We share information only as needed to run our business, including with:
- Service providers — payment processors (e.g., PayPal), hosting and infrastructure, order management, shipping carriers, email delivery, analytics, customer support, and fraud-prevention tools.
- Professional advisors — accountants, auditors, and attorneys.
- Government or law-enforcement authorities — where we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Ankor Peptide, our users, or others.
- Corporate transactions — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar event, subject to customary confidentiality protections.
- With your direction — for example, when you use a shared shipping account or affiliate link.
Certain jurisdictions treat targeted advertising or analytics as a "sale" or "share." Where required, you may exercise opt-out rights as described in Section 10.
6. Cookies and tracking
We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies for essential Site functions (cart, checkout, authentication, age gate), analytics, performance measurement, and, where enabled, marketing. You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the Site from working.
7. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the services, comply with our legal, tax, accounting, and audit obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary based on the type of data and the purpose for which it was collected. When no longer needed, information is deleted or anonymized.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit, restricted internal access, and reputable third-party processors. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
9. Children's privacy
The Site is not directed to individuals under 21. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and we do not knowingly sell to anyone under 21. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it.
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information.
- Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any message.
- Opt out of certain analytics or advertising cookies through your browser or platform controls.
- Withdraw consent, where processing is based on consent.
- Appeal a decision we make about your request, where applicable.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
To exercise these rights, contact us at info@ankorpeptide.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and certain requests may be limited by law (for example, records we must keep for tax, fraud-prevention, or regulatory reasons).
11. U.S. state privacy rights
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws may have specific rights under those laws, including the rights described above and the right to be free from discrimination for exercising them. Ankor Peptide does not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a right-to-limit under applicable law.
12. International users
The Site is operated from the United States, and we currently ship only within the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S., which may have different data-protection rules than your jurisdiction.
13. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites, tools, or resources (including PubMed, payment providers, and shipping carriers). We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information.
14. Do Not Track
Because there is no common industry standard for "Do Not Track" signals, the Site does not currently respond to them. You can still use the browser and platform controls referenced in Section 10.
15. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Effective date." Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
